Todo pueblo que carece del acceso a la formación de sus pobladores, inevitablemente se transforma en una sociedad dependiente, perdiendo la más preciosa y virtuosa de las libertades, que es el poder (constitucionalmente es un deber y un derecho) elegir los caminos de la vida de cada uno de sus individuos y por carácter transitivo los destinos de la Nación cuya tierra fecundan.

Asistimos impávidos a la degradación educativa con tal inercia que hasta aplaudimos la entrega de miles de ejemplares de libros gratuitamente, como si ello nos llevara a leer inevitablemente.

Peor aun, creen que harán comprender.

Más alevoso aun, es una burla al ignorante que lo recibe quien ni siquiera puede ejercer su derecho de saber leer porque el Estado no cubrió adecuadamente la necesidad que lo obliga nuestra sabia Carta Magna.

Un pueblo que no tiene educación no tiene futuro ni crecimiento posible.

No es simplemente una frase, es una realidad global nunca aprendida por nosotros, los argentinos, pués mientras yo estudie, nada me importa si el indígena puede, si el labrador accede, si el pobre y por ende el excluido se puede integrar al conocer y al saber.

Es tan cruel ello que hasta nos lleva a aceptar de mejor grado, como inmigrante, a un trabajador de la tierra de origen Europeo, que a uno Latinoamericano, como si fuera de menor valia el segundo que el primero.

La ignorancia sólo lleva a la dependencia de las comunidades, pero no ya solamente hacia o para otros países, no, simple y efectivamente para ser dependientes de nuestros políticos que así perduran por décadas y más se aferran a sus sillas salpicadas por la corrupción, las prebendas, el clientelismo, etc, para sólo citar alguna de sus cualidades.

Nada de raro hay en implementar una adecuada política educativa ¿qué cuesta hacerlo?, si deliberadamente cada año se implementa una nueva , es decir mostrar que se va a hacer que algo cambie para que en la esencia nada cambie y se perpetúe la máxima de Sarmiento: “Escuela que se cierra, cárcel que se abre”.

¿Cómo podemos seguir emparchando lo que es la base del crecimiento de una Nación?

¿Cómo podemos seguir degradando a los maestros, no ya con sueldos miserables solamente (pues también tenían sueldos miserables nuestros viejos maestros) sino con escasas horas de dedicación, casi ninguna acción de otorgarle cursos de actualización y generando para los educandos las necesarias horas de clase anuales imprescindibles para el mínimo conocer?

¿No es hora de qué nos demos cuenta que la educación requiere calificación y respeto, ambos conceptos necesarios e imprescindibles tanto para el maestro como para el alumno, pues a ambos se les debe dar el valor que se merecen porque son los formadores de la sociedad del presente y del futuro?.

¿No debiera la sociedad y su dirigencia toda librar una batalla sin cuartel para lograr una alfabetización integral del pueblo argentino que permita que volvamos a tener los índices más bajos ya no de Latinoamérica, sino del mundo? 

¿No correspondería al Estado apoyar a las ONGs para que implementen la fiscalización del cumplimiento de la excelencia de la educación conjugada con la necesaria provisión de la alimentación de los comedores escolares para que los niños puedan y tengan ganas de ir a la escuela? pues allí, (en un país de un 50% de pobres y un 30% de indigentes ) serán contenidos y aprendiendo como se vive, conocerán que hay realidades mejores que las que le toca vivir y que solo con el estudio y el trabajo podrán acceder a ella.

¿No debieran las Grandes Multinacionales, las Grandes Empresas, Las Pymes,los profesionales que puedan hacerlo apadrinar a las escuelas del Estado, pero no simbólicamente sino efectivamente?. Ya no solamente con medios económicos sino comprometiéndose a la auditoria de la entrega de sus fondos a buen destino y el crecimiento cualitativo de tal o cual escuela.

¿No se beneficiarán ellos mismos con esta gigantesca bolsa de trabajo que crearían, que, de paso, serviría para retener a tantas mentes brillantes que se nos van de la Argentina porque nosotros mismos no les damos el espacio que se merecen, que les corresponde y que por otra parte, como Nación les necesitamos dar?.

La realidad es que sólo de su calidad, capacidad y trabajo podremos usufructuar con orgullo para nosotros mismos y para ejemplo al mundo de lo que realmente podemos hacer siguiendo el camino normal de los países desarrollados.

Ese camino consiste nada más que en educarse, por consiguiente entender lo que es la ética, aprender la cultura del conocer y la del trabajar que, siempre por consecuencia, permiten llegar a ser una sociedad seria y una Nación en serio.

Solo así, únicamente de esta forma, viviremos en libertad, con expresiones de ideas, con diferencias de opiniones y por suerte con amplitud de acciones que nos permitirán construir y no destruir como nos viene pasando en los últimos setenta años y que nos han conducido al más fenomenal endeudamiento económico, a la más paupérrima de las pobrezas que incluye la mental y a que se pase hambre en una nación que en los últimos tres años triplicó sus exportaciones de alimentos al resto del mundo.

Pero, mientras lamentablemente se afianza la hambruna en nuestras tierras, se propaga a grandes pasos la inseguridad en todo lo ancho y largo del país y la juventud, esa que es la gestora de nuestro y su futuro, se debate en la mayor de las incertidumbres porque nosotros, sus mayores, no le dejamos nada de una Nación saqueada, que aun lo sigue siendo hasta en sus últimos despojos.

EDUCATION: That creator of liberties

Every nation thats lacks access to the instruction of its people will inevitably become a dependent society, losing the most precious and virtuous of liberties, which is the power (constitutionally speaking, it is a duty and a right) of choosing the paths of the lives of each of its individuals and, as a consequence, of the destinies of the Nation whose land they fertilize.

We undauntedly assist to the educational degradation with such inercia that we even cheer the delivery of thousands of books for free, as if that would inevitably lead us to reading.

Even worse, they believe that it will make comprehension possible.

Yet more treacherous, it is a mockery to the ignorant that receives them, who is not even able to exercise his right to know how to read because the state has not covered adecquately the need that our wise Carta Magna indicates.

A nation that has no education has neither future nor possible growth.

It is not simply a phrase, it is a global reality that we, the argentinians, have never learned, because as long as I study it does not matter to me if the aborigin is able to, if the farmer has access to it, if a poor person and the marginalized are able to be integrated to knowledge.

It is so cruel that we would rather accept, as an immigrant, a worker of the land from Europe rather than a Latin American one, as if the latter worthed less than the former.

Ignorance only leads to the communities being dependant, but not only in relation to other countries, no, simply and efectively to being dependent of our own politicians who, thanks to that, remain for decades in their posts and cling more to their chairs stained by corruption, bribery, clientelism, etc, only to name some of their attributes.

There is nothing odd in implementing an adecquate educational politic, what is wrong with that? if, deliberately, each year they implement a new one in order to show that something is being in order to change the state of things when, in the end, nothing will be modified and Sarmiento's maxim will be perpetuated: "For each school that closes down, there is a jail being opened".

How can we go on patching the base of a Nation's growth?

How can we go on degrading the teachers, not only with misery salaries (because our old teachers had misery salaries too) but also with scarce hours of dedication, showing almost no intention of providing them with update courses and not giving the students the indispensable annual number of hours of class in order to get the essential knowledge? 

Is it not time to realize that education requires qualifications and respect , both necessary and essential concepts for both the teacher and the pupil, because the two of them must be given the value that they deserve since they are the creators of today's and tomorrow's society?

Should not society and the whole dirigency battle to achieve an integral alphabetization of the argentinian people that will allow us to obtain again the lowest indexes not only of Latin America, but also, of the world?

Is it not a duty of the state to support non-gubernmental organizations so that they implement the fiscalization of the fulfilment of excellence in education, articulated with the necessary provision of the feeding in the school eateries so that children will be able and willing to go to school because that is where (in a country where half of its population is on the line of poverty and 30% are indigents) they will be supported and where they will learn how life is and know that there are better realities than the ones they have to endure and that by means of studying and working they will have access to it?

Should not great multinationals, the big companies, the medium-sized companies, the proffesionals, etc do all that they can to act as godfather of public schools, but not simbolically but effectively?

Not only by transferring the money but also by making sure that the sending of their founds will reach good destiny and improve the qualitative growth of this or that school?

Would not even they get benefits from this gigantic laboral force that they would create, which would also help to keep so many brilliant minds that leave Argentina because we do not even give them the space that they diserve, that corresponds to them and that, on the other hand, we should give them as a Nation?

The truth is that we can profit from their quality, skills and work with pride for ourselves and as an example for the world of what we can really do following the normal path of developed countries.

That path consists in nothing else than getting education and, as a result, understanding what ethics are, learning from the culture of knowing and working which, as a consequence, allows us to reach a serious society and a Nation for real.

Only in that way will we live with freedom, with expressions of ideas, with differences pf opinion and with such a width of actions that will let us build and not destroy, unlike what has been happening along the last seventy years, which has driven us to the most phenomenal economic indebtedness, to the worst poverty which includes both the mental and the one that makes a Nation feel hungry, a Nation which has triplicated its food exportations to the rest of the world during the last three years.

But, in the meantime, unfortunately, hunger is reinforced in our land, insecurity is acceleratedly spreading througout the country and our youth, which is the seed of our and its own future, is struggling under the greatest of uncertainties because us, their elders, are not leaving them anything from a looted Nation, which is still being stripped even of its last remains.
